Meet the Family Behind Sevey Farms
We're the Sevey family—a Christian family of five with a love for hard work, fresh food, and lifelong learning.
Sevey Farms is more than a farm—it's a family project built with a lot of love, hard work, and probably a little dirt under our fingernails.
Our days are filled with caring for chickens, ducks, turkeys, gardens, and more than a few four-legged (and even eight-legged!) family members. Between school, work, sports, farm chores, and baking fresh sourdough, life keeps us busy—but we wouldn't have it any other way.
We believe in raising healthy food, learning practical skills, solving problems with our own hands, and leaving things a little better than we found them. Everything we offer is grown or made with care, whether you're stopping by for fresh eggs, homemade bread, seasonal produce, or simply to support a local family farm we look forward to sharing a little piece of our farm from our family to yours.
Our Farming Philosophy
At Sevey Farms, we believe that exceptional products begin with exceptional care. Every day, our chickens and ducks are welcomed out with the sunrise to spend their days roaming, foraging, and enjoying the fresh air before being safely tucked into their coops each evening.
Our flocks are provided with spacious, covered outdoor areas that offer plenty of room to explore without overcrowding. They have continuous access to clean feed and fresh water, a pond for drinking and natural foraging, and opportunities to scratch for bugs and enjoy safe vegetation. Their nutritional needs are carefully monitored, and their environment is designed with both comfort and enrichment in mind, from shaded resting areas to a variety of perches that encourage natural behaviors.
We believe animals thrive when they're given the space, care, and freedom to be themselves. By raising our flock with patience, respect, and responsible farming practices, we're proud to provide wholesome products while caring for the land, our animals, and the community we call home.
What You'll Find at Sevey Farms
We offer a variety of fresh, homegrown, and handcrafted products throughout the year.
Our current offerings include fresh chicken and duck eggs, homemade sourdough bread and sourdough starter, seasonal jams and fruit butters, and hatching eggs carefully selected from breeding hens.
As our farm continues to grow, we're excited to introduce handcrafted crocheted and knitted items, farmhouse décor, and other unique goods in The Trading Post. Throughout the seasons, we also offer specialty items such as fresh fruits and vegetables, Thanksgiving turkeys, straight-run chicks, and started pullets when available.
Because farming follows the seasons, some products are only available at certain times of the year. Be sure to check back often or follow us for updates on seasonal offerings and special announcements.
